Repeating a Course

Unless otherwise stated in the course description, a high school course that was completed (i.e., you received a grade of A, B, C, D, F, or P) may be repeated once.

When repeating a course, students must submit original work for all assignments, lessons, assessments, quizzes, tests, and exams. Submission of previously submitted and/or previously graded work and/or other Academic Misconduct is prohibited, and may result in failure of the course.

Exception: You may retake courses required for graduation as many times as needed until a passing grade is earned.

Credit toward your high school diploma is given for only one course, and it will be noted on the transcript that the course was repeated. The higher of the two grades will be counted toward your cumulative GPA. Always check with your academic advisor before re-registering.
